This Saturday, we had our second ever PRIMER’S COUNCIL!!! :D We had it this time in LT4 or the old LT. It was decidedly a different experience as a result of the different shape of the primers council as our first ever had all of us sitting in a U shape! We started with the CE committee running through their goals and such and showed us a few photos of their outing to the zoo, which they displayed throughout their slide show :O
"To infinity and beyond"

Christian Education Committee 11/12
"We are men, we don't come up with cheap names."
The BOYS
Drill and Discipline Committee 11/12
Following that, the SR committee led by Primer Nicholas also did run through what their committee had accomplished since their inception as a new committee, they also outlined some of their future goals and took the opportunity to brief us about BB CARES, the upcoming SR event that they had planned (SO EXICITING:)).
We had the D&D committee brief us about their future goals which had included a drill manual but sadly, would not happen as HQ was going to publish one! Year 2 programmes had reviewed what they had done over the past few months and also identified areas for improvements, which they believe would culminate in an enjoyable experience for the Year 2’s as they accomplish the criteria for their Founder’s Award. The Steering committee also went through their reflections and outlined some exciting things that they had planned for the Primers, captivating everyone in the process and so we can’t wait for the next Council!
We then had the Game’s briefing which was planned and executed by the D&D committee and we listened attentively to Primer Gabriel’s Briefing of Captain’s Treasure which comprised of 2 portions, a Captain’s Ball Game and a Treasure Hunt (resulting in the AWESOME name of Captain’s Treasure :P) The games ran concurrently with the teams being able to change the amount of players in each game at any time, resulting in various challenges being poised and interesting solutions as a result of them (lying on balls and umbrella’s ring a bell??) The water gun portion of the treasure hunt made for an interesting sight as everyone ran for cover to avoid getting wet while attempting to get 10 red balls so as to end up as the top scorer’s of the game! There were water gun’s going pew pew pew and after that you could hear shouts of joy as everyone had a BLAST of a time there ^^! Over at the captain ball section, people could be heard screaming or signalling for the ball to be passed to them which resulted in interesting attempts to block scoring from both teams. All in all, it was a wonderful time as everyone bonded together with one another and would have sure left with fond memories! :DD
